  1. WordPerfect Intellitag 1.0 for DOS - What Is It?

  3. WordPerfect Intellitag 1.0 for DOS is a software conversion program
  4. designed to convert existing word processing documents into the Standard
  5. Generalized MarkUp Language (SGML) format.

  7. WP Intellitag is compatible with standard Document Type Definitions
  8. (DTDs) and user-defined DTDs.  The product has a pre-tagging mechanism
  9. that automatically inserts tags according to the document format, as
  10. well as pre-defined rules selected by the user.

  14. WordPerfect Intellitag 1.0 for DOS works well with standard Document
  15. Type Definitions (DTDs) and is not restricted to any specific set of
  16. DTDs.  The product will also accept user-supplied DTDs.  WP Intellitag
  17. includes a pre-tagging device designed to automatically tag uniform
  18. documents according to user-defined rules.

  23. WordPerfect Intellitag 1.0 for DOS includes an interactive validator and
  24. editor designed to detect tagging errors and facilitate tagging changes. 
  25. The interactive validator automatically checks document tagging against
  26. the document rules specified in the selected Document Type Definition
  27. (DTD).  If changes are needed, the user can make the changes before the
  28. document is saved as an SGML file.

  30. When the interactive validator detects a misplaced tag, the error
  31. message function directs your attention to the problem and suggests
  32. reasons why the error occurred.

  34. WordPerfect Intellitag 1.0 for DOS - Compatibility

  36. Files created in WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 are compatible with WordPerfect
  37. Intellitag 1.0.  When a document has been tagged and the tags have been
  38. validated, the user can save the document as either an SGML (ASCII
  39. characters only) file or a WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 file.

  41. If the document is saved as a WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 file, the user can
  42. retrieve the marked-up file into WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 without losing the
  43. tag information and can still maintain WordPerfect's word processing
  44. functionality.

  46. (NOTE:  Customers can work in WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS and save their
  47. file to WP 5.1/5.2 format and then retrieve it in Intellitag and tag it.

  80. Intellitag.  You can insert tags; search, replace, block, move, and copy
  81. text or codes; edit the contents of headers, footers, and footnotes;
  82. edit styles; and edit any text associated with graphics.

  85. Error List and Next Error features to make sure that all your text and
