  4. The speech that you submitted to me for presentation at
  5. John Franklin's retirement party is excellent with one
  6. minor exception.

  8. Inasmuch as John is somewhat sensitive about his age, I
  9. feel that it would be inappropriate to make any reference
  10. to this fact.  I would appreciate it if you would delete
  11. those sections in Paragraphs 6 and 7 which specifically
  12. comment about his age and/or employ the words "golden
  13. years", and find a suitable substitution.
