  4. Your lighter was repaired on April 19th and was shipped via
  5. UPS on April 20th.  We can only assume that the lighter was
  6. lost in transit.

  8. Upon receipt of your letter, we reported the loss
  9. immediately to the carrier and they are attempting to locate
  10. the parcel.  We should have a report back within two weeks.

  12. If ABC is successful in locating your lighter, then it will
  13. be forwarded to you promptly.  If, after two weeks, they have
  14. been unsuccessful, we will forward a check to you for the
  15. value of the lighter.
