extraordinary help when you have MORE than 6 numbers you wish to bet in

Section 1 - Introduction
------------------------
The immediate question you may have (or should have) is whether
this program can assist you in improving your chances of being a
winner in you state's Lotto. The question can be simply answered by
your answer to another question.
Does the Lotto in which you are playing pick 6 balls for the
winning numbers? Stated a different way, when you mark your lotto
form, do you blacken 6 numbers?
If the answer is yes - then DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I is what you
have been looking for. DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I is the answer for
those of you who have been searching for the BEST mathematical chances
of winning in your Lotto when you have selected MORE than 6 numbers
(this program will assist you to use (wheel) from 7 to 12 different
numbers).
Let me describe the usual Lotto player - Joe Dokes. Joe has
either chosen 6 numbers or uses the "quick pick" which many state
Lotto systems offer. This allows for a single play on the Lotto. So
when Joe plays one ticket, Joe is working at the WORST possible odds
for winning. For example, here in the Great State of Texas, where the
Doctor resides, Joe has odds of 1 in 16 million!! I don't think Joe
could go to the bank and get a loan for his next house on those odds.
Now let me describe the intelligent Lotto player - like YOU, who
has probably purchased one or more Lotto systems which lower the
selection of numbers to bet based upon prior results of the Lotto in
your state.
The great majority of the Lotto systems you have purchased have
many things in common. They will usually provide you with:
a) the "HOT" numbers, that is, those numbers which have been
picked with the greatest frequency in the number of last games you
decide to use as your data base (this number of last games used is
known as "regression"--I will explain "regression" later in the text);
b) the "COLD" numbers, which are those numbers which have been
picked with the least frequency based upon your data base
(regression);
c) a "SKIP-HIT" chart, which shows you how often a certain number
has hit, i.e., been picked and how long in between Lotto drawings
before it has been "hit" again;
d) a "number of times hit" or "frequency" of any certain number,
i.e., how often a certain number has hit in the regression you have
decided upon. NOTE: This "frequency" will usually result in same
numbers as indicated by the "HOT" numbers as described in "a" above;
e) a "next to" or "cluster" or "grouping" type of numbers, i.e.,
when a certain number is drawn, let's say 04, then based upon your
regression, the number 18 has the greatest probability of being drawn
next.
Your Lotto number picking systems will almost always give you
MORE than 6 excellent (Hot, etc.) numbers to play in the next Lotto
drawing.
This is where DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I comes into play. DR.
DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I will assist you in betting any combination of
more than 6 numbers, up to 12 numbers, for your best advantage per
dollar bet to become a winner in your Lotto.
It is all based upon higher mathematics which Dr. Deek has worked
out for you. The reason you have not seen many TRUE wheeling programs
is because of the time and mathematical formulation involved. But
there is no need for you to make the computations. They are right
here in this program!! What is needed is your "number" selections.
DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I will do the rest for you. Then you are off
to your nearest Lotto location.
If your state picks from 52, 48, or even down to 35 numbers in
its draw, it really does not matter. As long as the draw for a
winning combination is 6 numbers (i.e. 03 07 14 24 35 40 ), the wheels
in this program will WORK for you by increasing your chances of
winning per dollar bet.
So what we have come down to is that you have more than 6 numbers
which you would like to use in the Lotto. How do you use those
numbers to your best numerical and financial advantage???
Let`s use the example of Madonna. Through all of her computer
programs or otherwise she as come to the decision that in the next
Lotto in her state the best numbers to be "hit" are 02, 15, 22, 25,
29, 39, and 49.
Madonna is in a quandary.
How does she bet these 7 numbers to give her the greatest
mathematical chance of winning in the Lotto in her state with the
LEAST amount of dollars bet? That is where Madonna turns to DR.
DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I.
But hold on a minute, is this not the same point where you are
(or have been when) when you have more than 6 numbers you wish to bet
in your Lotto?? Have you been frustrated by trying to mark your Lotto
selections using more than 6 numbers without going crazy in the
process trying to figure the combinations 7 or more numbers will give
you??
So as Madonna follows Dr. Deek, you will be able to do the same.
That is what this whole program is about - Winning on the FEWEST $ bet
for the greatest probability of winning!!!
OK, back to Madonna (who Dr. Deek is married to. Not THE
MADONNA, but the ORIGINAL Madonna; a beautiful lady who the Doctor has
been married to for over 20 years!!).
Madonna has 7 numbers she wants to bet in the upcoming Lotto in
her state (which just happens to be Texas with its 50 number pool).
But as stated before, if your State uses any number of balls for the
pool AS LONG AS THE NUMBER OF BALLS USED FOR THE WINNING COMBINATION
IS 6!! this wheeling system WILL WORK FOR YOU!!!!
We have 7 numbers which you (and Madonna) wish to WHEEL to YOUR
best advantage per dollar ($) bet and best possible ($) return.
With DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I, you can use 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or
12 numbers.
Since Madonna has 7 numbers she wishes to bet, she will WHEEL
those 7 numbers. The "7" WHEEL will give her the best mathematical
odds and percentage to win per dollar ($) bet.
Therefore: using 7 numbers with a 6 number draw you will have the
following wheels when you use DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I:
7/3/3/ 7/4/3 7/5/3 7/6/3 7/4/4/ 7/5/4 7/6/4 7/5/5/ 7/6/5
and 7/6/6.
Don't let the above list confuse you right now. By the time you
are done reading this text you will be well acquainted with the
different WHEELS and exactly how they work.

Section 2 - Lotto Wheels
------------------------
So Let's start learning about Lotto Wheels.
The easiest wheel to understand is the 7/3/3 wheel.
Whenever a wheel parameter is listed (i.e. n/n/n, where n = any
number), all you have to understand is what each of the numbers in the
wheel name stands for. Using the 7/3/3 wheel, the numbers (n/n/n)
stand for:
a) The "7" in the first location ("7/n/n") indicates the number
of numbers you wish use in your Lotto bet. Remember that Madonna has
chosen to use the numbers: 02, 15, 22, 25, 29, 39, and 49. Therefore
since she has decided to wheel 7 numbers, she will use the wheels
which begin with "7/".
b) The "3" in the second location (n/3/n) indicates the number
of the original 7 numbers you are betting on that will ACTUALLY BE
DRAWN IN THE LOTTO you are using the wheel for. In Madonna's example,
any three of the numbers 02, 15, 22, 25, 29, 39, and 49 WILL HAVE TO
BE DRAWN in the Texas Lotto that she is using the wheel for. For
example let's say that the winning numbers in the Texas Lotto for the
day she is playing are: 05, 15, 20, 25, 35, and 39. As you can see,
the numbers 15, 25, and 39 are winning numbers and are ALSO three of
the seven numbers that Madonna has used in her wheel.
c) The third "3" (n/n/3) is really what wheeling is all about.
The third "3" is what puts you far ahead of all the other Lotto
players in your State. The third "3" is what makes you a WINNER IF
THE LOTTO RESULTS PICK 3 of you original 7 numbers!!!!
The problem that the usual Lotto player faces is when using 7 or
more numbers and 3 of those numbers are picked as winning numbers, is
to make sure that the 3 winning numbers are all in at least one of the
6 number bets marked on the Lotto Card.
What the vast majority of Lotto Players do is mark the Lotto
betting sheet at random, trying not to repeat the same number too many
times. You may wish to try it yourself right now. Grab a Lotto
betting sheet and using the 7 numbers Madonna has chosen, start
marking the Lotto sheet to get all of the combinations that will
assure you a winner if any 3 of the 7 numbers are picked as winners.
Take your time, the Doctor will wait. Just turn this program off and
come back as soon as you are done.....
Welcome back, I'll assume that you have given up in total
frustration or you are on the verge of being certified loony. Not to
worry - The Doctor is here with the RX to solve your problem.
To find the correct solution to the 7 number, 3 winner problem
stated above, all you will have to do in the future is use the 7/3/3
wheel in this program.
Before you are ready to mark your Lotto betting sheet in the
future ask yourself, "If I have 7 numbers to bet, and 3 of those
numbers are picked as winners, what 6 ball combinations do I have to
mark on my betting sheet to make sure I have at least 1 3-ball
winner?"
Then simply say "7" numbers picked by me, "3" numbers picked in
the Lotto drawing as winners, and I have at least 1 "3" ball winner.
Put the numbers in the wheel designation "?/?/?" and you will
immediately know which wheel to use!!
So using the numbers stated in the above paragraph you have
"7/3/3". It really is that simple!!

Section 3 - DR. DEEK'S WHEELS
-----------------------------
When you pull up the 7/3/3 wheel in the program what you will see
is:

For the moment, do not be concerned the 8, 9, 10 extension in the
"Position" and "Numbers" line; or with the Low and High Limit part of
the wheel - this is the special "Regression" referred to earlier in
the text and will be explained later in Section 7.
What the Dr. wants you to pay attention to is the 4 rows of
numbers immediately under the "7/3/3 System" line.
This is the wheel which will make you a 3 ball winner if 3 of
your original 7 numbers are picked in the Lotto drawing.
Earlier when you tried to figure out the number of combinations
needed to assure a 3 ball winner using 7 numbers did you come up with
4 6-ball combinations to assure a 3-ball winner?? Believe it or not
you will only have to make 4 bets to cover all of the possible 6-ball
combinations needed. That is the secret and the power of wheeling!!
To work the wheel you insert your chosen 7 numbers in the
"Numbers" line. You may type them in any sequence, but in these
instructions we will always go from the lowest to the highest number.
As in any spreadsheet use the cursor placement to type in 02, 15,
22, 25, 29, 39, and 49 in the "Numbers" line. Type them in, hitting
the "Right Arrow" key as you go, and the program will automatically
insert your chosen 7 numbers in the wheel templet (assuming you are in
the "automatic CALC" mode of your Lotus program). Note: if you are in
the MANUAL CALC mode, the numbers will be inserted when you press the
"F9" key). The result will look as follows:

That is all there is to it. You now have your 4 6-ball
combinations to bet AND YOU ARE COVERED TO WIN A 3 BALL WINNER IF ANY
THREE OF THE SEVEN NUMBERS ARE PICKED IN THE LOTTO DRAWING!!!
The "(4)" after the name of the wheel indicates the number of
betting lines which are in that wheel. For example, 7/3/3 has 4
lines, but 10/6/6 has 210 betting lines. This is provided so you may
make a quick calculation of how much it will cost to play that
particular wheel. The Texas Lotto costs $1 per bet, therefore to play
the 10/6/6 wheel will cost $210 (210 lines x $1 per line). If your
state is 50 cents per bet, the 210 x .50 = $110 to play the 10/6/6
wheel. As with any betting system, money management is very
important.
Another example would be if you decided that you wanted to use 7
numbers and you wanted a 3 ball winner guaranteed if any 4 of the 7
numbers were picked in the Lotto drawing. You would say to yourself;
"7" numbers chosen by me, "4" of those 7 numbers picked in the Lotto
drawing and I will have a "3" ball winner. Hence you would have
7/4/3. Therefore you would use the 7/4/3 wheel.

Section 4 - Loading the Program
-------------------------------
This version of DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I is to be run on the
Lotus 123 spreadsheet Version 2.0 or later, LotusWorks, or 123 for
Widows. There is also a version for the Excel 4.0 spreadsheet.
If you are working from a Bulletin Board, download both the
"Lotto1.wk1" and Lotto2.wk1" files into your Lotus 123 spreadsheet
directory (usually "c:\123").
There are two (2) files that should be downloaded:
Lotto1.wk1
Lotto2.wk1
The Lotto1.wk1 file contains the wheels for selection of 7 to 10
different numbers to play.
The Lotto2.wk1 file contains the wheels for selection of 11 or 12
numbers.
The Lotto1.wk1 and Lotto2.wk1 files also contains "MACROS" to
PRINT the wheels for the for each of the numbers selected. Each MACRO
command prints ALL the wheels for that number, i.e. all the 7/n/n
wheels (See Section 6 for more on the "PRINT" MACROS).
MANUAL LOADING
--------------
If you are loading DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I from a disk drive,
proceed as follows:
1. Place the disk containing DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I in the
SOURCE drive you will copy FROM.
2. Your destination is the \123 directory. If you have Lotus 123
in you C: drive then your screen prompt should read: c:\123
3. Then type: copy a:*.* c: (ENTER)
That is all there is to it. Check your file listing in the
Lotus 123 directory to make sure both the Lotto1.wk1 and Lotto2.wk1
files were copied into the Lotus 123 spreadsheet by running a "dir"
command at the "C:\123" prompt for a listing of the \123 directory.

Section 5 - RUNNING THE PROGRAM
-------------------------------
Running DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I is simple as making apple pie.
One time through and you will be an expert!!
Start by booting up your Lotus 123 program.
For this explanation, the Doctor will assume you are ready to
wheel 7 numbers: 11 15 22 27 37 44 and 50.
Hit the " / " key and bring up the main menu. Select "Files" as
you would usually do. Then select (Retrieve) the "Lotto1.wk1" file.
You should now have the HOME area of the spreadsheet on your
screen. If not hit the HOME key to get there.
Your screen should look similar to:

CALC
If everything looks OK, then you are ready to WHEEL!!
Move the cursor to the "1" cell on the "Numbers" line. Type in
"11" as you would in any other program while using the Lotus 123
spreadsheet. Continue on to the "2" cell and type in "15" and so on
with the remaining chosen numbers: 22 27 37 44 and 50.
PROGRAM NOTE: All cells on the spreadsheet are protected except
for the Low-High Limit Numbers and the Numbers line. These are the
only changeable cells and are indicated by being highlighted or
brighter than all other cells on the spreadsheet by the Lotus program.
When you are finished your "Numbers" line should read:
11 15 22 27 37 44 50 8 9 10
If everything is A-OK, it is time to have the program calculate
all of the 7/n/n wheels for you.
This is accomplished by using the "F9" key when in the MANUAL
CALC Mode. As you all know the "F9" key is used by Lotus 123 to
perform the manual "CALC" function. If you are in AUTO CALC the
numbers are placed in the wheel templets as soon as you enter them in
the "Numbers" line.
PROGRAM NOTE: For those of you who are using the "slower"
processors (8088 chip or 286 chip) you may want to use the MANUAL CALC
feature of your spreadsheet. The reason is that the program
calculates all of the wheels on the spreadsheet at the same time as
each number is entered after the "right arrow" key is hit, if you are
in the AUTO CALC mode. What you should do is to turn the MANUAL CALC
"on", enter all of your chosen numbers and then hit the CALC function
by pressing the "F9" key. With the larger wheels it may take a couple
of minutes to perform the calc function. Two Macros are available in
the program: "ALT-E" activates the MANUAL CALC and "ALT-F" activates
the AUTO CALC. Use the "CNTRL" key instead of the "ALT" key if you
are running on 123 for Windows. MACROS DO NOT WORK WITH LOTUSWORKS!!
If you have not already done so, have the program perform the
calculation by hitting the "F9" key now.
WALLA!!!! There you have it-and that is all there is to it!!!
Your screen should now look like:

If your screen looks like what is above, you are ready to PRINT
your 7/n/n wheels and head for the nearest Lotto betting facility.
NOTE: You may wonder why part of the 8/n/n system is on your
screen when you are in the HOME position on the spreadsheet. As with
many spreadsheet programs, the layout of the spreadsheet is determined
by the amount of space available and the amount of information to be
entered on the spreadsheet. In order to get the greatest number of
wheels on two files, it was necessary to design the program in such a
manner. The Doctor apologizes if it is distracting.

Section 6 -PRINTING THE WHEELS
------------------------------
Dr. Deek has made the printing of the wheels as easy as possible
by the use of "macros".
Make sure your printer is on. Then all you have to do is press
the following keys, depending upon which set of wheels and Lotus
Program you are running:
Lotus 123 123/Windows
For the 7/n/n wheels: ALT-A CNTRL-A
For the 8/n/n wheels: ALT-B CNTRL-B
For the 9/n/n wheels: ALT-C CNTRL-C
For the 10/n/n wheels: ALT-D CNTRL-D
When you are using the Lotto2.wk1 file for wheels using 11 and 12
numbers, the "macros" to use are:
For 11/3/3 to 11/6/5: ALT-A CNTRL-A
For 11/6/6: ALT-B CNTRL-B
For 12/n/n: ALT-C CNTRL-C
PROGRAM NOTE: Remember that the Lotus 123 program uses the "ALT"
key and the 123 for Windows program uses the "CNTRL" key to run the
macros respectively. Macros DO NOT WORK with LotusWorks!!!!
The reason for a separate macro for the 11/6/6 wheel is because
it contains 462 different line combinations and takes quite a bit of
time to print. The use of the 11/6/6 wheel is for those of you who
have the Big Bucks and want to play in the Big Time.
Please also note that not all possible 12/n/n wheels are in this
program. The following are: 12/3/3, 12/4/3, 12/5/3, 12/4/4, and
12/5/4. The reason for this is that the 12/n/n wheels which are not
in the program result in a VERY LARGE number of combinations which the
average user of DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I would in all probability
never use. For example the 12/6/6 wheel has 924 combinations, which
based on $1 per bet would require a bankroll of $945.00.
The Doctor hopes, that with the number of wheels which this
program does provide, you the player, will be more than satisfied and
have more than enough bets to make when you play your state Lotto.
As with any spreadsheet you may move the cursor around the
spreadsheet to preview any wheel before deciding to print any set of
wheels.

Section 7 -
USING THE "LOW LIMIT" AND "HIGH LIMIT" FUNCTION (Regression)
------------------------------------------------------------
Now let's talk about "Regression".
Every state keeps a record of all of the past drawings. When a
person like yourself goes back to any number of past drawings to see
what the frequency of the numbers drawn was, what you are really doing
is called "regression" in order to derive a statistical base.
This use of regression is how many Lotto programs determine what
the "Hot" numbers, the "Cold" numbers, and the "Group" numbers are.
For example: you determine that if you only use the results in the
last 32 drawings in your state, you may have a better statistical
representation of the numbers which will be chosen in the next Lotto
drawing.
The use of regression for the purpose of choosing "hot" and
"cold' numbers CANNOT BE DONE WITH DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I. This
determination of "numbers" to play by use of regression is left up to
your other Lotto programs.
Where the Doctor's program does use regression is by using the
"sum" of the 6 balls chosen in each of the drawings you are using for
your statistical base.
For example, let's say the last drawing in your state produced
the following 6 winning numbers: 03, 06, 17, 27, 33, and 45. The sum
of these 6 numbers is 131. Remember you get a "sum" by adding all 6
numbers together (i.e. 3 + 6 + 17 + 27 + 33 +45 = 131).
If you use a regression of the last 32 drawings, you would add up
the 6 winning numbers in each of the 32 drawings.
What you will have then is a list of 32 sums. What you would do
then is to find the "lowest" sum in the last 32 drawings and the
"highest" sum in the last 32 drawings. These two numbers then become
your "Range" for setting the "Low Limit" and the "High Limit" for each
of Dr. Deek's wheels you decide to play.
Your immediate question should be: why should I have to have an
"Low" limit and a "High" limit? The answer is because it will lower
the number of bets you will have to make. This is so because if the
total of the 6 numbers which result on any one line of the wheeling
system is OUTSIDE OF THE LOW AND HIGH LIMITS, THEN BASED UPON YOUR
REGRESSION DATA, ALL 6 NUMBERS IN THAT LINE OF THE WHEELING SYSTEM
HAVE A VERY POOR CHANCE OF BEING SELECTED!!
The use of the High and Low limits will usually only come into
play when you are using a 7/6/6 wheel or any wheel that has ?/6/6/ as
its name. This is because not betting a line in a wheel for the
reason that it is outside of the range limits means that ALL SIX
numbers in that line have a poor chance of being the 6 WINNING numbers
in that Lotto drawing. It does not mean that 3, 4, or even 5 of the
numbers have a poor chance of being drawn, BUT THAT ALL 6 NUMBERS WILL
BE DRAWN!!!
CAUTION IS ADVISED when using the High-Low settings and
regression, if you do not bet ALL OF THE WHEEL LINES in each wheel,
you may not be a winner if the number of balls chosen for that wheel
are picked!!!
The Doctor has given you the Low and High limit option to use at
your discretion BUT remember it does destroy the integrity of the
wheeling system if you fail to bet all lines of a wheel!!!
The manner in which the program indicates that a betting line is
outside of the Low and High Limits is under the "Total" column the
program will indicate "NO PLAY".
Dr. Deek has made regression play available in three easy steps
using the "Low Limit-High Limit" option.
The Low Limit has been automatically set at "1" and the High
Limit has been automatically set at "300." These setting will allow
for the FULL range of possible sums with any Lotto that uses up to 50
balls for the pool. This is because the GREATEST sum which could occur
is 285 (50 + 49 + 48 + 47 + 46 + 45) in a 6-ball Lotto.
If you desire different sum limitations, then all you have to do
is to change the specific numbers in the Low Limit and High Limit
cells at the beginning of the program.
When any line in a wheel is LESS than or GREATER than the limits
you have set, then "NO PLAY" will appear in the "Total" Column for
that specific line.
Again, the Doctor warns you, IF YOU FAIL TO PLAY EVERY line in
whichever wheel you decide to play, you WILL destroy the integrity of
that wheel.
For example, using the 7/4/3 wheel:

If you were to set the "Low Limit" at 85 and the "High Limit" at
185, the third line of the 7/4/3 system would indicate "No Play."
This is so because the sum of the 6 numbers in that line is 195.
Since 195 is GREATER than 185, "No Play" appears in the Total column.
If you fail to play all three lines of this 7/4/3 even though you
have a "No Play" indication, the integrity of the wheel will be
destroyed. It is often unwise to change the limits from the original
"1" and "300."
As with any rule, there are exceptions. With the Low-High Limit
option, it can be used anytime you desire to play a wheel which is a
n\6\6 system; such as 7/6/6. This is because in a n\6\6 system there
is only 1 way in which any 6 numbers drawn can give you a six (6) ball
winner. Incidentally this means you will WIN the Lotto for that
drawing if any 6 of those 7 numbers are picked.
Since each line of a n\6\6 system stands by itself, the use of
the Low-High function will not destroy the integrity of the wheel if
the 6 balls actually picked in your Lotto have a sum within the Low-
High limits you have set. By using the sum analysis of your other
programs you will be able to lower the number of realistic bets based
on a n/6/6 wheel.
Using the 11\6\6 wheel, there are 462 possible combinations. But
if your regression work on past winning 6 balls sums shows that the
low end is 107 and the high end is 196, then by using the Low-High
Limit function you will be able to eliminate a good number of non-
statistical occurring combinations.

Section 8 -FINAL POINTS TO REMEMBER

The Doctor would leave you with a VERY IMPORTANT point to
remember: ALWAYS check your results for LESSER winners inside of the
wheel you have decided to play.
For example: If you use the 7/5/5 system which has 6 line bets,
even though 5 of the 7 numbers are not picked in your Lotto for that
drawing, MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY 3 OR 4 BALL WINNERS WITHIN
THOSE 6 BETTING LINES.
As you become acquainted with DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I you will
see that many wheels can produce MULTIPLE WINNERS within the lines of
the wheel. REMEMBER TO CHECK EACH LINE OF EVERY WHEEL YOU BET FOR
"INSIDE" WINNERS OF LESSER NUMBERS. This is a mathematical bonus of
using DR. DEEK'S LOTTO WHEELS I!!
