  1.                          XEOFF V1  The Eliminator

  3.    This is just a little utility program which removes Form Feeds (CNTL-L)
  4.    and End-of-File marks (CNTL-Z) from text files. It copies an input file
  5.    of your choice to an output file of your choice. You may either specify
  6.    the two files on the command line, or the program will ask you for them.
  7.  
  8.    The input file is not written to. The output file is open for APPEND,
  9.    so it may be used repeatedly to accumulate data, and will not overlay
  10.    existing data. If you want a fresh start though, it is up to you to
  11.    scratch any existing output file.
