  16. CONVERTING EXISTING FILE LIST
  17. -----------------------------

  19. Because TriBBS 5.01 Beta 7 now supports binary file lists, you must convert
  20. all existing file lists from ASCII to binary.  This is accomplished by
  21. running the new AscToBin from your main TriBBS directory with the following
  22. command line:

  24. ASCTOBIN /ALL
  25.  
  26. If you use any type of file list utility that modifies a file list in any
  27. way, it must be compatible with TriBBS's new binary file list format.  To
  28. date, only the new FileMan* is compatible with the new binary file list
  29. format.  Therefore, you must either stop using any incompatible file list
  30. utilities until the author updates then for compatibility with the new
  31. binary file lists or you must run AscToBin on the modified file list before 
  32. using it with TriBBS.
