A Speedy Multi-Volume File Transfer Program
Readme file
***************
*Introduction:*
***************
Welcome to TurboCopy - The fastest file copy program north of the south
pole and south of the north pole! (If you don't believe me, have a look
at the file tcbench.doc!)
Please refer to tcmanual.doc for basic instructions on how to use
TurboCopy. If you are like me, you will probably be inclined to ignore
the manual, but please take the time to look through it, since there are
some finer points which you might not pick up by just fooling around
with the program.
TurboCopy is 99% compatible with, and works exactly the same as XCopy
and DOS Copy, it is just much faster; so if you know DOS you shouldn't
have any trouble operating TurboCopy.
To save space, I have not included the source and executable for
TurboCopy 1.15 in this package (like I usually do). You will find it
together with TurboCopy 2.00 which is available on SIMTEL20 (or, at
least, used to be.)
Apart from that said above I don't have much more to say but that I hope
you will find TurboCopy useful, easy to operate and fast.

*File list:*
************
The following files should be in this package (I usually distribute TC
in a .ZIP file called something like TCPY202.ZIP, so everything should
be together):
tc.com The executable for TurboCopy 2.02
tcbench.doc TC benchmark test results
tccolour.com Colour editor for TurboCopy 2.02
tcdescr.txt A short description of TurboCopy 2.02
tcmanual.doc TurboCopy's user's manual
tcnew.doc List of new features in TurboCopy
tcorder.frm Order form for registration
tcread.me This readme file
tctech.doc Technical information about TurboCopy
*****************
*Important note:*
*****************
To avoid disappointment(!), please DO NOT use TurboCopy's floppy cache
together with another floppy WRITEBACK cache (it's OK if it's delayed
writes are off). Since it is pointless to have two writeback caches on
the same drive at the same time this shouldn't be a drawback. I have
found that TC works with many floppy writeback caches, however I'm not
guaranteeing anything. If you really insist on using the floppy
writeback cache you bought at the café on the corner, type TC/U and
disable TC's built in cache. I have added optional FDRead emulation in
TC 2.01: If you rarely (or never) use floppies formatted to nonstandard
capacities, or you experience compatibility problems; you may disable
this feature.
