How to install MAKECHAR on your system.
1) Create a directory on your harddisk named MAKECHAR (or something else if
you prefer). MAKECHAR may fit on a 1.2 or 1.44 meg diskette.
2) Make the drive with the disk containing MAKECHAR.ZIP the current drive
(e.g., A:) and change to the directory containing MAKECHAR.ZIP
(e.g., CHDIR MAKECHAR).
3) Execute the command PKUNZIP MAKECHAR.ZIP C:MAKECHAR
4) Rename one of the MAKECHAR.PRx files to MAKECHAR.PRO. Choose the one that
seems appropriate for your printer. If your printer does not handle IBM,
Epson, or HP DeskJet emulation you make have to edit one of the profiles
to work with your printer.
That's it!
Set your VGA/EGA monitor to 43 or 50 line mode first if you like, change to
the directory containing MAKECHAR, and run
MAKECHAR
