  1.                    Promissory Note Program

  3. Version 1.03/1.04. Program was released as a beta up to 1.03. With
  4. 1.04 I made it a full release copy with no program changes. To
  5. date, 1988 to start of 1994, there have been no reported problems
  6. with the program.

  8. Version 2.0. Found a couple minor errors in the color routines
  9. which could cause possible problems for users with mono displays.
  10. Found an error in the day calculation routine if note was in the
  11. make month, same year. It would add dates rather than calculate
  12. number of days between make and current date.
  13.  
  14. I made some screen changes adding a little more color. Added the
  15. "Author's" information to the menu rather than having the user see
  16. it each time the user enters the program. Removed the pre-exit
  17. prompt so now the program exits with the menu choice without
  18. further user intervention.

  20. Added ARCHIVE.TXT and HUCKABEY.TXT to the archive as I am doing
  21. to all of my programs as I get around to them. See these files
  22. for details.

  24. Added this READ.ME file for update information as I have in other
  25. programs. I removed READ-ME.NTS and READ-ME2.NTS.

  27. If you are using this program would you please write me and let
  28. me know what you think? For a program that does promissory notes,
  29. only one I know of, there has been no response to date. If I had
  30. responses I would feel more compelled to convert the program over
  31. to Turbo Pascal as I have nearly all my other regular PC programs.
