  6. FCOM is an invaluable tool if you have need to combine multiple files
  7. into one. Prime example: multiple chapters of a book, or manual. Once
  8. all the seperate pieces are complete, you want to put them in a package.
  9.  
  10. With FCOM it's simple, you tag the files, in the order you want added, set
  11. a few options if needed, and sit back!
  12.  
  13. Completly menu driven, with pick lists.
  14.  
  15. Here's a few of the many features:

  17.  a) Built in File Manager, Copy/Move/Rename/Delete.
  18.  b) Tag files in the order desired for combining.
  19.  c) Via a Hot Key, view the first 5 lines of the highlighted file, while
  20.     selecting from the list. (This is HANDY!)
  21.  d) Completely menu driven.
  22.  c) Mouse support (Mouse Driver must be loaded).
  23.  e) Dialog Boxes for user input where required.
  24.  f) Tag multiple files to print. Printer errors covered.
  25.  g) File extensions are checked, most invalid files for combining or
  26.     printing are by-passed, even if tagged. Files filtered out, are those
  27.     with an extension of: EXE,COM,OVR,BIN,TPU,OBJ,PCX,GIF
  28.     Others will be added in the future.
  29.  h) A separate configuration program allowing you to register FCOM, and to
  30.     set up 3 external programs to run from FCOM, complete with Help
  31.     line and Menu Item, you even set the HOTkey for the menu item.
  32.  i) Supports EMS/XMS memory for swapping.
  33.  j) A couple of minor formatting options during combine.

  35. FCOM is designed to work with text files primarily, support is planned
  36. for wordprocessor type files, as well as other "binary" format
  37. files in the future.

  40. FCOM comes with a default registration number, which will give you FULL
  41. registered use until Dec-28-1993, so you can fully evaluate. After that,
  42. unregistered access only, with limitations and 2 or 3 de-activated features.
  43. Program will work fine unregistered, but not near as handy.....
