  1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
  2.  
  3. ExitWin 1.0 - A simple but very elegant utility that makes leaving 
  4. Windows as easy as one click! ExitWin will exit Windows or exit 
  5. and re-start Windows quickly with one click or two clicks configurable 
  6. from the settings menu or by corresponding shortcut key. Other settings 
  7. include Always On Top (CTRL+T) of all running apps, Lock Current Position 
  8. (CTRL+L) and Confirm Exit to DOS. Use Select Sound File to configure 
  9. ExitWin to play a standard .wav file at exit (GLASS.WAV is included). The 
  10. Use Sound menu selection turns the selected sound on and off. To move 
  11. ExitWin around your screen, drag it by the green and white EXIT sign 
  12. (Lock Position must be off). ExitWin will remember it's last screen position. 
  13. Use Set Password to password protect the exit to DOS. Password must be composed 
  14. of the numbers 1 to 9 and may be up to nine characters in length. Clicking on 
  15. Hide Help Button or pressing F2 will eliminate the help button and resize the 
  16. window to the size of the EXIT sign. Press F1 to restore the help button. 
  17. Press F3 to minimize or return program to normal size. Shareware. Requires

  39. Run INSTALL.EXE. All distribution files will be copied to the directory of your choice 
  40. (.VBX & .DLL files will be placed in your Windows/System directory). For optimal 
  41. ease of use, it is recommended that you have ExitWin automatically load when 
  42. Windows is started.

  47. This program may be freely distributed by any BBS or Shareware distributor
  48. as long as all files listed above remain a part of the archive. Please 
  49. maintain the following filename for distribution: EXW10.ZIP
