  6.          EDEL is not public domain software, nor is it free software.

  8.          EDEL is copyright (C) 1993 by Lawrence G. Martin.

  10.          Non-registered users are granted a limited license to use
  11.          EDEL on a trial basis for the purpose of determining whether
  12.          EDEL is suitable for their needs.  Use of EDEL, except for
  13.          this limited purpose, requires registration.  Use of
  14.          non-registered copies of EDEL by any person, business,
  15.          corporation, governmental agency or other entity is strictly
  16.          forbidden.

  18.          Registration grants a user the right to use EDEL only on a
  19.          single computer; a registered user may use the program on a
  20.          different computer, but may not use the program on more than
  21.          one computer at the same time.

  23.          No one may modify EDEL in any way, including but not limited
  24.          to decompiling, disassembling or otherwise reverse
  25.          engineering the program.
  26.  
  27.          All users are granted a limited license to copy EDEL only for
  28.          the trial use of others subject to the above limitations, and
  29.          also the following:

  31.               EDEL must be copied in unmodified form, complete with
  32.               the file containing license and ordering information.
  33.  
  34.               The full EDEL documentation must be included with the
  35.               copy.
  36.  
  37.               No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or
  38.               requested by any licensee.

  40.               EDEL may not be distributed in conjunction with any
  41.               other product.
  42.  
  43.          Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (Sysops) may
  44.          post EDEL for downloading by their users only as long as the
  45.          above conditions are met.

  47.          Distributors of public domain or user supported software may
  48.          distribute copies of EDEL subject to the above conditions.
