  5. INTRODUCTION
  6. Rolodex/2 is an OS/2 2.x shareware program to store information about people,
  7. companies, etc.  I hope you enjoy it.

  9. CHANGES
  10. Rolodex v1.0   You can store & retreive names, addresses, city, state, zip,
  11.                work & home phone, company, email, ftp, and bbs info.
  12. Rolodex v1.1   You can now send email(1), ftp(1), and print from this program.
  13.                (1) Note:  You need IBM TCP/IP to send email & ftp.

  15. SETUP
  16. Copy vrobj.dll to a directory in your libpath.  ex: c:\os2\dll
  17. Copy all other files into any directory you wish.  ex: c:\rolodex

  29. SPECIAL FEATURES
  30. If you have IBM TCPIP for OS/2 you can send email and ftp from this program.

  32. DISTRIBUTION CONDITIONS
  33. You are free to distribute this shareware version of Rolodex/2 as long as
  34. the following conditions are met:
  35.   1) The distributed archive must contain ONLY the files listed above.
  36.   2) The contents of this archive are NOT MODIFIED in any way.
  37.   3) This version is not to be sold.  However, a reasonable disk copying fee
  38.      is permitted.
  39.   4) This version is not to be bundled with a commercially sold package
  40.      without permission from the author.

  42. HOW TO REGISTER   
  43. If you use Rolodex/2 for more than 15 days, you are expected to register
  44. Rolodex/2.  When you register, you will receive the latest version of
  45. Rolodex/2.  Plus information of other great products that I have created
  46. for OS/2.

  48. The registration fee is only $20.
  49.  
  50. Updates are free but shipping charge may apply.  Users who register
  51. Rolodex/2 and provide an e-mail address will automatically receive
  52. updates via e-mail.

  54. For e-mail registrations, you need to use a program called "uudecode" to
  55. decode the uuencoded file that I e-mail to you.  For your information,
  56. a uuencoded file is a binary file that is converted to text by a program
  57. called "uuencode".  If your mail system rejects large messages, I will
  58. split the uuencoded file into smaller parts before mailing the parts to
  59. you, and you will need to edit the messages with a text editor before
  60. you can decode them.

  70. Registration of Rolodex/2 is based on personal usage.  Corporate or
  71. organizational users must register all copies used on an individual
  72. basis. A specific person must be explicitly assigned to each
  73. registrant who will be provided with a personalized copy of Rolodex/2.
  74. Registration grants a specific person (not an organization or
  75. corporate entity) the right to use Rolodex/2.  Contact me if you wish
  76. to have a sight licenses, I will work out sight licenses on a case by
  77. case matter.

  80. If you find a bug in Rolodex/2, I would appreciate it if you would inform
  81. me so I can provide better service. When you send me a bug report, include
  82. a description of the procedure for reproducing the bug and a description
  83. of your system configuration(hardware and software).  You can email any
