  4. This diskette contains a release version of the Tseng Labs ET4000/W32,  
  5. ET4000/W32i and ET4000/W32p display driver for OS/2 2.1.

  10.                    INSTALLATION  INSTRUCTIONS OS/2 V2.1
  11.  
  12. NOTE:  The Installation Diskette Volume Label must be TSENG 1.  Please
  13. use the Diskcopy utility if a backup diskette is made.
  14.  
  15. 1.      Open OS/2 SYSTEM.
  16. 2.      Open COMMAND PROMPTS.
  17. 3.      Open either OS/2 WINDOW or OS/2 FULL SCREEN.
  18. 4.      Insert Tseng Installation diskette in drive A.
  19. 5.      Type:
  20.  
  21.                 CD \OS2\INSTALL [enter]
  22.                 COPY A:\TSENGW32.DSC [enter]
  23.                 DSPINSTL [enter]
  24.  
  25. 6.      From the DISPLAY DRIVER INSTALL window,
  26.                 select PRIMARY DISPLAY
  27.                 select OK.
  28.  
  29. 7.      From the PRIMARY DISPLAY ADAPTER TYPE window,
  30.                 select TSENG LABORATORIES ET4000/W32/W32i/W32p
  31.                 select OK.

  33. 8.      From the MONITOR CONFIGURATION/SELECTION UTILITY window,
  34.                 select INSTALL USING DISPLAY ADAPTER UTILITY PROGRAM
  35.                 select OK.

  37. 9.      From the MONITOR CONFIGURATION/SELECTION UTILITY LOCATION      
  38.         window,
  39.                 type A:\SETMODE.EXE
  40.                 select OK
  41.                 
  42. 10.     SETMODE will prompt you to set refresh rates for 640x480
  43.         resolution, then for 800x600, and finally for 1024x768. 
  44.         Currently available choices are shown in parentheses.
  45.  
  46. 11.     From the SELECT DISPLAY RESOLUTION window,
  47.                 select the desired resolution
  48.                 select OK.
  49.  
  50. 12.     From the SOURCE DIRECTORY window,
  51.                 select INSTALL.
  52.  
  53. 13.     When the drivers are completely installed, you will be prompted 
  54.          to shut down and restart the system for changes to take effect.
  55.                 select OK.

  57. 14.     Remove the diskette from drive A.
  58. 15.     Shut down and restart.
