- fixed problems with 60-rows mode after CTRL-F6
- internal viewer changes TAB's into spaces
- CTRL-ENTER appends a space to a filename
- fixed optical bug when scanning the tree
- new switch 'LWList' in OS2COM.INI (see RWList)
- file-search (ALT-F7) can be interrupted with ESC
- archives are handled like directories.
The files inside an archive can be viewed, copied, moved and
deleted. To copy a file to the current directory just enter
an empty target path.
- the Quick-Search feature (ALT-<letter>) now has a nice window
- Video-mode switching now is working in a window.
- Speeded-up the reading of directories 30%-40%
- fixed error with long directory names (ALT-F7 and ALT-F10)
- in the tree (ALT-F10) the current directory is highlighted.
- copy/move is now working with "\" as target-path
- Viewer und editor sometimes forgot the last row.
- new switch "IntDEV" in the INI at [StartUp].
"IntDEV Yes" internal viewer/editor with F3/F4, external with ALT
"IntDEV No" external Viewer/Editor with F3/F4, internal with ALT
- CTRL-E now is scrolling through the command-history
- CTRL-Cursor_Up can now be used as a History-Search-Function similar
to CTRL-E.
If you want to get back a special command out of the history
you can enter ther beginning of the command and get the command
back with CTRL-Cursor_Up.
- Root (C:\) as the starting-directory in the INI wasn't working.
- deleting the last sign of a row with DEL wasn't workig in the editor
- Copy an empty directory killed the original directory
- sometimes the cursor went to nowhere. Should be fixed.
- new switch 'ViMode' at [StartUp] in the INI.
This defines the video mode the OS/2-Commander should switch
to at program-startup.
ViMode 1 - 25 rows
ViMode 2 - 28 rows
ViMode 3 - 30 rows
ViMode 4 - 34 rows
ViMode 5 - 43 rows
ViMode 6 - 50 rows
ViMode 7 - 60 rows
If you don't use this switch, OS/2-Commander will use the
current video mode.
- BAT's can now be started.
- File-extensions are now handled according to their definition in
the INI at [Extensions]. So you can now use a different, external
archiv-viewer (shame on you if you do so).
- Problems with external programs waiting for a key should be fixed.
- At the standard Yes/No-questions the right mouse-button can be
used to choose the default choice.
- With CTRL-G you can switch between ascending and descending sorting
- The 43-row mode now should work with all VGA cards.
- removed ArcMFg and ArcMBg ([Colors]) from INI.
- new switches 'ViewFg' and 'ViewBg' at [Colors] in the INI.
This defines the for- and background color of the internal viewer.
- new switch 'OrigHPFS' in the INI at [StartUp].
'OrigHPFS No' shows files and directories on HPFS-partitions
as yet, files lowercase, directorys uppercase.
'OrigHPFS Yes' shows the original style of files and
directorys on HPFS-partitions.
- new switch 'HPFSDi' in the INI at [Colors].
This defines the color of directories on HPFS-partitions
- When copying from HPFS- to FAT-partitions the filenames are
converted to 8+3-format if necessary.
- All pulldown-menues got hotkeys.
- 'TempPath' has to be defined in the INI.
- In archives ENTER can only be used to leave the archive.
- fixed some bugs in the internal editor
- Sysop-feature CTRL-I switches FILES.BBS-Info.
If ON the descriptions of files are showed if there is a FILES.BBS
in the current directory and the opposite window is the Info-window
- no problems with directories with more than 2000 entries
- droped a lot of unused code.
- CTRL-C in archives stripes file-comments from ZIP- and ARJ-archives
- new switches 'QSMove' at [StartUp].
With 'QSMove No' the QuickSearch-function behaves like Norton.
Default is 'Yes'.
- Network-drives are now updated regularly.
- new switch 'HeadFg' at [Colors].
Defines the foreground-color for the Name/Size/Date/Time - row.
