  9. This IS a shareware package, and does require a registration fee if
  10. you choose to continue using it after 30 days.   The registration
  11. fee is currently $15 US for individuals or $35 for a server-wide
  12. license.

  16.                     I  M  P  O  R  T  A  N  T
  17. ====================================================================
  18. NOTES:  The file NWCALLS.DLL that was shipped with some versions of
  19. the OS/2 requester failed to include certain functions that BMR uses.
  20. The DLL included in the version 1.0 distribution ZIP file was from
  21. the Novell's developer kit and had the functionality BMR needs, but
  22. failed to function properly under all circumstances.
  23.  
  24. We have tested BMR with the OS/2 Requester v2.01 and all seems to be
  25. correct.  The OS/2 version of Salvage still traps, but this is now
  26. obviously a Novell problem.  Use the DOS version in a DOS box.
  27. The NWCALLS.DLL we tested with is dated 1/27/93.  This is what
  28. we recommend you use.

  30. NOTE that the NSD v2.02 is OBSOLETE.  The version number is misleading,
  31. the full release requester v2.01 superceeds the v2.02 NSD; the 2.02
  32. release was just a patch.

  34. THERE IS NO DLL SUPPLIED WITH THIS RELEASE.  BMR REQUIRES VERSION 2.01
  35. OF THE NETWARE OS/2 REQUESTER.

  38. KNOWN BUGS AND STUFF
  39. ====================

  41. o   Supports only single server systems.  The server handled will be the
  42.     "default" server when BMR is started.

  45. FIXES/ENHANCEMENTS in Version 1.1
  46. =================================
  47.  
  48. o   New button that shows the count of "to" users currently selected.
  49.     Clicking on this button clears all selected users.
  50.  
  51. o   New "instance checking".  Previously, under certain conditions, BMR
  52.     would beep and exit.  It would not load.  BMR will try not to load
  53.     itself twice.  Previously, it would read the task list and attempt
  54.     to match on task name.  This proved to be troublesome.  We now use
  55.     a named resource to test for existing instances.
  56.  
  57. o   Double clicking on a line in the receive list box will attempt to
  58.     find the user name associated with this line.  That user name,
  59.     if found to be valid, will be selected in the "to" listbox.
  60.  
  61. o   Dialog Mode 5 is now movable.  Click on the tiny button on the bottom
  62.     of the dialog box, between the two list boxes.  You're now in move
  63.     mode.  Move it, click it - presto!

  65. o   The option and exit dialogs are now always centered over the receive
  66.     dialog box.  Just a cosmetic ...
