  5.    1) Release 1.0 of Doc-Proc had a bug in the News screen logic.
  6.       When using the News function to view the News, the screen
  7.       appeared to lock up.  This was unintentional.  The screen
  8.       really did not lock up but was not refreshed with the Menu2
  9.       panels.

  11.    2) A number of Networks, it was discovered, did not maintain a copy
  12.       of COMMAND.COM in their root directory.  This was necessary in
  13.       order for Doc-Proc to route documents to Network printers.  For
  14.       those that do not maintain a copy of COMMAND.COM in the root
  15.       directory, you may use the token command COMMAND.COM to direct
  16.       Doc-Proc to a directory where it can find a copy of COMMAND.COM.

  18.    3) Relative address processing was implemented so that documents
  19.       viewed at the terminal can be viewed paging forward as well as
  20.       viewed paging backward.
  21.       This is a convenience that allows the user to re-read a previously
  22.       viewed page of a document without having to view the complete
  23.       document all over again.

  25.    4) Any scratch files used by Doc-Proc will utilize the default disk
  26.       drive (I.E. that disk drive from which Doc-Proc was invoked).  If
  27.       you wish to force Doc-Proc scratch files to a particular drive, use
  28.       the token command SCRATCH-DRIVE to designate the drive to be used
  29.       for Doc-Proc scratch files.  Any Doc-Proc scratch files created
  30.       by Doc-Proc will be erased upon terminating Doc-Proc.

  32.    5) New logic was added to Doc-Proc to check Printer port connections.
  33.       An appropriate error message is displayed if the printer is not
  34.       connected to the appropriate Communication line (I.E. COMM port1
  35.       or COMM port2).  An appropriate error message is displayed if the
  36.       printer is not turned on or if the printer is out of paper.  Doc-Proc
  37.       does not terminate when one of these errors occurs but allows the
  38.       user to make necessary adjustments before continuing.

  40.    6) Doc-Proc has now been enhanced to process not only DOS text files
  41.       but also print files generated for specific printers.
  42.       The print files may be generated by any word processor or program.
  43.       Printer and Destination controls are maintained using Doc-Proc token
  44.       commands.  Doc-Proc was further enhanced to allow printer files
  45.       generated for specific printers to be housed in separate file
  46.       directories.

  48.    7) Simple generic DOS print files may be viewed on your terminal
  49.       without Doc-Proc page numbering and paginating the document.
  50.       This is accomplished by suffixing the name of your document,
  51.       specified on the MENU2 token command, with the extension '.PRN'.
  52.       Remember, this document must not make use of any special printer
  53.       fonts and the document must reside on disk with the designated
  54.       extension.
