  8. -  I'm sure you know all about the PPL, right?  Well,  I created
  9.    a PPE program, which does a couple good things, this way, you
  10.    can relax, and let the CENTNET.PPE file do my job for you!
  11.    All you have to do, is when there are changes in the Nodelist
  12.    or Conference listings, I would send the newer copy to you,
  13.    and you would have to make sure that the PPE would go to the
  14.    correct directory.

  16. -  Just what does this PPE do, may I ask?
  17.    Sure, go right ahead.  First, let me tell you about the tech
  18.    aspect.  A file, CENTNET.CNF is included to let you configure
  19.    which conference applications shall be posted in.  By default,
  20.    all messages are from the version of Centnet you are running,
  21.    addressed to me, as an echoed private message.

  23. -  So which conference should I put it in?
  24.    Centipede's Personal conference.

  26. -  Okay, now, WHAT IS THE PPE?
  27.    Sorry, almost forgot...<g>.  The program offers a menu, from
  28.    which you can read about information on Centipede, Conference
  29.    listings for Centipede, Guidelines, as well as Nodelists.
  30.    Now, with the nodelists, there are advertisements for each
  31.    single member.  Its too complicated to explain, you really
  32.    have to check it out.  Per Conferences, it shows what each
  33.    topic is about.  Now, the final option, is the application
  34.    generator.  A user can access that, fill out all the required
  35.    information, and then the user will be asked to save the app,
  36.    if YES, then the application is saved in a message, and
  37.    posted in the conference number you originally designated in
  38.    the CENTNET.CNF file.  See, simple?  And yet, everything is
  39.    taken care of...  Fantastic.

  41. -  What should I do?
  42.    Read all the files pertaining to you in this archive, make
  43.    sure we are for you and your users.  If you're unsure, post
  44.    a generic message to your users, asking them if they want
  45.    us or not.  Then, just edit the APPLY.CEN form, everything
  46.    you need to know, is there.

  51.    The CENTNET PPE now has Sysop Menu functions.  No more editing
  52.    the CNF file from the command line or external program.  You
  53.    can do what you need to configure right from the PPE, and all
  54.    your configs shall be saved accordingly.
