YGDRASIL - A monthly Journal of the Poetic arts.
Ygdrasil was conceived as the first truly significant and serious
international poetry journal to use the electronic medium for it's
distribution network. It was also meant to rival the many standard
poetry journals one might find on the bookshelves. And of course it
was most of all meant to provide a permanent place to showcase
some of the truly wonderful poetry which appears rather fleetingly
on our monitors through the various Poetry Conferences scattered
throughout the Networks spanning North America and Europe, especially
it's home Network Centipede.
Ygdrasil publishes, along with many new poets each month, on a regular
basis, such fine poets as Pedro Sena, Igal Koshevoy, Andrew Blevins,
Jan Kingsford and Bob Ezergailis, all with an established reputation
throughout the poetry metworks for the excellence of their work.
Ygdrasil is Officially distributed by Paul Lauda through his Revisions
Systems BBS, and is available on many fine supporting BBSs such as
Tom Almy's Bitter Better Butter BBS (Portland Oregon), Daniel Coulombe's
Synapse BBS (Ottawa, Ontario) and many more. A full listing can be
requested from Revisions Systems BBS.
The Editorial staff includes, Editor, Founder and Publisher, Klaus Gerken;
Assosiate Editors, Paul Lauda, Igal Koshevoy, Pedro Sena; and, European
Editor, Miodrag Djordjevic.
Ygdrasil attempts to maintain a very high professional standard, which
will bring the works of some very fine poets to the forefront and give
them the attention and audience they so richly deserve.
