──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
■ From: Dave & Del Freeman : Ruby's Pearls Paperless Elecmag ■
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Ruby's Pearls is a monthly humor/fiction/adventure magazine, published
by request to the 50 states and abroad, to London, Japan, Hong Kong,
Singapore, Paris, Portugal, and Ireland. It is also published on
CompuServe and GEnie; soon to be distributed via FIDO and Internet. It
exists only to entertain, makes no payments and collects no fees.
Ruby's has been written up in national publications such as Analog
Magazine, The New York Times, and Miami's New Times, to name a few, and
just recently won the electronic publishing industry's premiere
award, the Digital Quill Award, for the second year in a row. Guidelines
for submission appear in the Writer's Market and specify that all rights
remain with the writer at all times, aside from a one-time showcasing in
the elecmag, and subject to inclusion in the year-end anthology which is
published hard copy each year end.
Ruby's is strictly for fun, providing a forum for writers who produce
good, entertaining fiction and may not have a place to display that
work. Ruby believes that a good story should be read. She doesn't give a
tinker's hoo-hah whether a writer is established... only that he or she
writes a captivating tale.
