  3. May 1994 bring the best to all!  Let us all try and make this
  4. network one of the best around.
  5.  
  6. In all Network information packets you will find a "INTRO" screen
  7. for the two support conferences that CAPLink carriers.   If you
  8. carry the conference, you should have these screens somewhere being
  9. displayed to the users.
  10.  
  11. Some changes to the application program, and the node list program. 
  12. These two programs have not been released as of yet; however, we
  13. are hopping to get them into the market within the next couple of
  14. months.  We would still like to beta test it for some more time.
  15.  
  16. There has been some conversation about adult material on some
  17. system that are currently carrying CAPLink.  The problem is that
  18. the issue was never brought up in the rules and regulation in the
  19. beginning, and it is hard to start implementing rules now -- after
  20. the fact.  We will still have some more discussion over the next
  21. couple of months and we all will await the outcome of it.

  42. CAPLink Network has arrived!
  43.  
  44. Let me give a little history of what this network is all about, and
  45. how it came to be.  It started back several years when this system
  46. was born.   There was this idea to use a computer bulletin board
  47. system to help my business out.  That business being computer
  48. consulting, and programming.  After three years in the planning
  49. stage CAPLink is off the drawing board and into the 'air wave'.
  50.  
  51. We are trying to make this network a large network, not necessarily
  52. by conference volume, but by system volume.  We are hoping to
  53. achieve thirty systems by the end of this current year and continue
  54. to grow every year.
  55. At the moment we do have a small conference list; however, as we
  56. grown in size so will that list of conference.  Currently these are
  57. the conference we have online.

  77. Application Process

  80. The application process is very simple, you must be running a
  81. system 24 hours a day, and be willing to transfer mail to your Hub,
  82. Regional, Super-Regional, or Network host at least once a day. 
  83. There are two ways that you can apply.  The first way is to
  84. download the CAP_YYMM.ZIP file which holds the application form and
  85. all the rules for the network.  You will fill the application form
  86. out and send it to us.  The other way of applying is to call
  87. CAP/CANADA at (416) 287-0935, or CAP/ANALYSIS at (708) 854-0255,
  88. and use our online application form.  To pull this application form
  89. up all you do is type 'CAPLINK' at the command prompt.
