  6. Software Supported

  8. The only BBS and Networking software CAPLink approves for use is:
  9.  
  10. PCBoard : Rosemail/Qnet/Rnet/Cam-Mail
  11. WildCat : Tnet
  12. GAP     : GapNet
  13. TriBBS  : TriNet
  14. SpitFire: Jnet
  15. Auntie  : QWiKerNet
  16.  
  17. If something is not shown on this list we will still consider your
  18. application; however, if the software proves unable to handle itself you will
  19. be asked to change the software, or leave the network.

  22. Overall Rules
  23.  
  24. ■    Illegal activities of any kind are not tolerated, violators can be
  25.      prosecuted.
  26.  
  27. ■    Profane, offensive, obscene, indecent, or any demeaning posts are
  28.      prohibited.
  29.  
  30. ■    Topics deemed immoral, unethical or poor taste by the NetAdmin are
  31.      prohibited.
  32.  
  33. ■    Abusive, insulting, slanderous, instigative posts are grounds for net
  34.      removal.
  35.  
  36. ■    Message encryption, for any reason is prohibited in the CAPLink Network.
  37.  
  38. ■    English is the only language approved for use anywhere in the CAPLink
  39.      Network.
  40.  
  41. ■    Network issues must be discussed in the appropriate Administrative
  42.      conferences.
  43.  
  44. ■    Posts may not be made available to users currently on suspension from
  45.      the net.
  46.  
  47. ■    CAPLink messages must never be gated to any non-CAPLink-member BBS's.
  48.  
  49. ■    BBS-Software-specific macros are not permitted within CAPLink.

  52. SysOp Rules
  53.  
  54. ■    Hub BBS's are expected to have the current application file available
  55.      for DL.
  56.  
  57. ■    Hub SysOps may not TCAN any user from the network without approval from
  58.      admin.
  59.  
  60. ■    Hub SysOps must relay mail at least once per day unless temporarily
  61.      unable to.
  62.  
  63. ■    Regional Hubs must relay at least once a day through their SR Hub.
  64.  
  65. ■    SR Hubs must relay though the Host BBS daily.
  66.  
  67. ■    Network taglines must begin with the string "CAPLink".

  70. Approvals/Removals
  71.  
  72. The Network Administrator reserves the right to admit or refuse any BBS SysOp
  73. into the network.  The Network Administrator reserves the right to remove
  74. and/or suspend net access to any member for any action considered harmful to
  75. the networks' well being.
