Rules of Operation and Participation

Software Supported
The only BBS and Networking software CAPLink approves for use is:
PCBoard : Rosemail/Qnet/Rnet/Cam-Mail
WildCat : Tnet
GAP : GapNet
TriBBS : TriNet
SpitFire: Jnet
Auntie : QWiKerNet
If something is not shown on this list we will still consider your application;
however, if the software proves unable to handle itself you will be asked to change
the software, or leave the network.
Overall Rules
Illegal activities of any kind are not tolerated, violators can be prosecuted.
Profane, offensive, obscene, indecent, or any demeaning posts are prohibited.
Topics deemed immoral, unethical or poor taste by the NetAdmin are prohibited.
Abusive, insulting, slanderous, instigative posts are grounds for net removal.
Message encryption, for any reason is prohibited in the CAPLink Network.
English is the only language approved for use anywhere in the CAPLink Network.
Network issues must be discussed in the appropriate Administrative conferences.
Posts may not be made available to users currently on suspension from the net.
CAPLink messages must never be gated to any non-CAPLink-member BBS's.
BBS-Software-specific macros are not permitted within CAPLink.
SysOp Rules
Hub BBS's are expected to have the current application file available for DL.
Hub SysOps may not TCAN any user from the network without approval from admin.
Hub SysOps must relay mail at least once per day unless temporarily unable to.
Regional Hubs must relay at least once a day through their SR Hub.
SR Hubs must relay though the Host BBS daily.
Network taglines must begin with the string "CAPLink".
Approvals/Removals
The Network Administrator reserves the right to admit or refuse any BBS SysOp into
the network. The Network Administrator reserves the right to remove and/or suspend
net access to any member for any action considered harmful to the networks' well
being.
