  10. If the Validate values do not match up, then the files may have been damaged
  11. or tampered with.  Always obtain your files from a McAfee direct source.

  13. A sample configuration file named VIR$CFG.DAT has been included with this
  14. release.  It contains the following settings:

  16.      Perform a periodic scan every Sunday at 1:00AM with a priority of 2.
  17.  
  18.      Inform both user and SUPERVISOR if virus found.
  19.  
  20.      No on-access scanning is performed.
  21.  
  22.      No action is taken when a virus is found.
  23.  
  24.      No report file is created by NETShield.
  25.  
  26.      Cross-server virus pattern updates is turned on.

  28.      No CRC checking is performed.
