DJS Destroy Version 1.0
(C) 1993 DJS Software
User's Manual
Introduction To Destroy
-----------------------
Destroy is a file deletion utility that will prevent you or anyone else
from undeleting files from your disks. If you have files that you don't
want other people to have access to at all, then Destroy is a useful
program.
Destroy is a big replacement for the DOS "del" command. Instead of simply
removing the file name from the directory, Destroy will wipe out the
contents of the file and then remove the file's name from the directory.
Suppose you write employee records on your computer, and you delete those
records. Anyone else who uses your computer can undelete those records
and view them as if you never did anything. With Destroy, someone could
undelete the record, but there would be nothing in the file to read.
Command Line
------------
The correct format for the program is DESTROY {Filename to destroy}
Typing DESTROY alone will give you information on the program.
System Requirements
-------------------
* 286 or better
* DOS 5.x to x.x
* At least 512k RAM
