  3. The Electronic Publishing Network, EPubNet, has been founded to
  4. support electronic publishing in two major ways:

  6. - Message echoes related to various aspects of electronic
  7.   publishing
  8.  
  9. - File distribution system for publications and related files
  10.  
  11. FILE DISTRIBUTION
  12. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  13. We current sponsor a distribution system for publications and
  14. authoring/reader programs. This allows publishers and authors to
  15. have their material distributed widely by uploading to a single
  16. BBS, and will allow member sysops to gather a sizeable
  17. collection of publication files for their users.

  19. THE NET

  21. EPubNet uses regular FidoNet node numbers (arrangements can be
  22. made for non-Fidonet nodes). We are open to gating to systems
  23. that use non-Fido compatible technology. EPubNet is a non-profit
  24. organization - there are no dues or fees.
