  15.   Shareware distributors (and diskette vendors) may distribute copies of the
  16.   software package provided that:

  22. 3. No charge is made, except for a reasonably small fee for media and
  23.    handling.

  26.    catalogs or any other related literature.

  31.    package without a written agreement with the author.

  41.   VENDOR UPDATE PROGRAM

  44.   send a letter containing the company name, mailing address, the name(s) of
  45.   the person(s) to contact (such as the disk librarian), and the name of the
  46.   program for which the request is being made.

  49.   author with a copy of each new catalog where the software is listed.  The

  83.   5. Suggested long program Description:
  84.  
  85.   The blinking of the cursor in text modes is controlled by the video hardware,
  86.   and there is no provision as yet for software to modify the rate of blinking.
  87.   CPx is a memory-resident program for controlling the shape of the (text-mode)
  88.   video cursor, including the use of a nonblinking cursor. The user can specify
  89.   (i) the blinking cursor shape, from a thin line to a full block, (ii) whether
  90.   a blinking cursor is to be displayed, and (iii) whether a non-blinking, block
  91.   cursor is to be displayed. Blinking and non-blinking cursors can be displayed
  92.   independently or simultaneously. The resident can be turned on and off with a
  93.   user-selectable hotkey, and modified on the fly by executing the program with
  94.   new switches from the DOS prompt (or a batch file) or via the DOS enviroment.
  95.   CPx becomes inactive in BIOS or VESA graphics modes; it also becomes inactive
  96.   if WINDOWS 3.x (Standard and 386-Enhanced mode) were started and active again
  97.   once DOS operations are resumed.

  99.   The resident occupies less than 1 KB of memory.  This program can load itself
  100.   directly into a block of the upper memory (UMB) either via an extended memory
  101.   manager supporting XMS 2+ services or via MS-DOS 5+ (if UMB-linked); the user
  102.   can specify a minimum UMB address to select or avoid a given UMB region. This
  103.   program requires MS-DOS version 2 or later, or a compatible operating system,
  104.   and a video CRT controller compatible with the IBM PC standard, such as those
  105.   found in SVGA, VGA, EGA, CGA, MDA, and in HERCULES cards.
