Revision 2.20: *QEMM386 error fix*
-------------
Added code to defeat spurious resident code signatures preserved, under some
conditions, by QEMM386.SYS (version 6.x) in high memory upon rebooting; such
signatures voided the installation of the resident.
Revision 2.10: *DOS-6 compatible/SHELL error fix*
-------------
The program is fully compatible with version 6 of MS-DOS, PC-DOS and DR-DOS.
The resident now monitors the DOS Multiplex interrupt for the initialization
and exit broadcast of WINDOWS, becoming inactive if WINDOWS (386-enhanced or
standard mode) is ready to begin, and active when WINDOWS terminates and DOS
is ready to resume.
Handicapped-user access has been facilitated in the displays for interactive
hotkey selection (switch HK?), in which the simultaneous pressing of several
shifting keys and <Enter> is no longer needed.
A conflict between switch EV and the SHELL switch /MSG (undocumented for MS-
and PC-DOS 5), if DOS were loaded in the HMA, has been fixed for MS- and PC-
DOS 5 and 6.
Revision 2.00: *MS-DOS/DR-DOS/386 BIOSes/386MAX error fixes*
-------------
An incorrect DOS version could be obtained in prior CPx revisions for MS-DOS
revision B, and DR-DOS 5 and 6 due to some atypical values returned by these
operating systems if the new get version function introduced in MS-DOS 5 was
called; these system bugs are now avoided.
An error in the memory manager 386MAX.SYS (Qualitas), version 6.00 and 6.01,
returns incorrect results when a DOS function is called to determine whether
MS-/PC-DOS 5 is linked to the upper memory. The error, which is now avoided,
voids selfloading into upper memory when using prior CPx releases.
Changes were also made to avoid a bug in AMI 386 BIOS and in AST Premier 386
BIOS, which can crash the system when changing cursor size.
Revision 1.18: *MS-DOS 5.0 compatible*
-------------
Modified the upper-memory selfloading service of switch LH, and the global DOS
enviroment service of switch EV to be compatible with MS-DOS 5.0. Other minor
modifications introduced for DOS-5 compatibility.
Revision 1.15: *Bug fix*
-------------
Fixed bug in error return services that could freeze the machine if stack were
too close to full.
Revision 1.14: *Mouse support*
-------------
Added mouse support to Syntax/Status panel. Modified some of the resident code
to speed up prefetch queuing.
Revision 1.13: *Minor changes*
-------------
Added selection of parameters for loading/updating from the Status/Help panel.
Added the cursor scan matrix display to Status/Help panel to display the scan
lines in a manner compatible with that of other cursor utilities. Made minor
changes of the non-resident code to trim file size.
Revision 1.10: *Major changes*
-------------
Modified resident for tighter timer operation to avoid potential conflict with
(slower) residents also using the system timer interrupt. Changed some of the
non-resident code to avoid duplication of servicons, and some resident code to
increase compatibility with WORDPERFECT operation.
Revision 1.10: *First Release*
-------------
Shareware release of CPx.
