  1.      You should have the following two self-extracting files:
  2.      - 21BCM1.EXE   (Main BCM program files)
  3.      - 21BCM2.EXE   (BCM Editor, help files and documentation)
  4.  
  5.      In the following instruction press the <Enter> key after typing the
  6. described commands.  If this is your first installation of BCM, create
  7. a directory on your hard drive by typing:
  8.  
  9.      MD C:\BCM    (creates sub-directory BCM on drive C)
  10.  
  11.      Note: BCM will run from any directory on any hard drive.
  12.  
  13.      If you are updating BCM from an earlier version than 2.0, you must
  14. erase all the BCM program files currently in your BCM directory because
  15. many of the earlier version files are not compatible with version 2.0.
  16.  
  17.      If you are installing BCM from floppy drive A:
  18.      -Put the floppy disk containing 21BCM1.EXE in drive A.
  19.      -Type A:\21BCM1 C:\BCM (Extracts files into C:\BCM).
  20.      -Put the floppy disk containing 21BCM2.EXE in drive A.
  21.      -Type A:\21BCM2 C:\BCM.

  23.      Note: BCM can be installed from any drive.
  24.      
  25.      Assuming that you installed BCM into C:\BCM, type:
  26.      C:         (changes you to drive C)
  27.      CD \BCM    (changes you to directory \BCM)
  28.      BCM        (runs the BCM Menu System)
  29.      
  30.      If you plan on using BCM's compression shell capabilities, make
  31. sure that any or all of the following programs are in the same directory
  32. as BCM:
  33.      -PKZIP.EXE..........PKZip file compression utility 
  34.      -PKUNZIP.EXE........PKZip file decompression utility
  35.      -PKPAK.EXE..........PKPak file compression utility 
  36.      -PKUNPAK.EXE........PKPak file decompression utility 
  37.      -LHA.EXE............Lha file compression-decompression utility 
  38.      -ARJ.EXE............ARJ file compression utility
  39.  
  40.      The shareware version of these compression programs can be easily
  41. obtained either on computer bulletin boards or through Shareware
  42. vendors.

  44.      It is helpful to put BCM's path in your AUTOEXEC.BAT path statement
  45. and add BCM at the end.  This causes BCM to run each time you boot your
  46. computer.  Read Building a Menu to see how to setup the BCM Main Menu.

  48.      If you need help anywhere in BCM, press <F1> or consult the manual.
