  25. What is THE LJ4 UTILITY?

  28. THE LJ4 UTILITY allows you to quickly change the settings of the
  29. LaserJet 4 family printers. Now you can change for example your
  30. printer's papersize, the default typeface or economode settings just by
  31. typing LJ4 and the corresponding command at the DOS prompt. This
  32. minimizes the time needed for changing your printer's settings because
  33. you don't have to start the Hewlett-Packard remote control panel or walk
  34. to your printer to do so.

  37. What software and hardware requirements does it have?

  40. All you need to use THE LJ4 UTILITY is a PC and a Hewlett-Packard
  41. LaserJet 4 family printer connected to it. There are no further hardware
  42. and software requirements.

  45. Is THE LJ4 UTILITY Freeware or Shareware or what?
  46. -------------------------------------------------

  48. We're releasing THE LJ4 UTILITY as Shareware. This means that you can
  49. use it for two weeks, but after that period you must either register
  50. or delete it. When you register, you will receive your Personal
  51. Registration Code which allows you to turn your Shareware version
  52. into a registered version of THE LJ4 UTILITY that does not contain
  53. the randomly appearing registration reminder.
  54. Once you are a registered TASsoft customer you will NEVER see this
  55. registration reminder again! Because with your PRC you can unlock not
  56. only this version but ALL future versions of THE LJ4 UTILITY.
  57. The registration fee is US$ 10 if you send cash or US$ 13 if you prefer
  58. sending a cheque (this is to cover the cashing fee).
  59. Please make sure that if you send a cheque you make it payable to either
  60. one of us but NOT to TASsoft.
  61. To register, print out the file LJ4.REG, fill it out, put it together
  62. with the US$ 10 or the cheque into an envelope and send it back to us
