  5. This utility program will allow you to print names and addresses using
  6. your Panasonic Laser Printer, (KX-P4410, KX-P4420, KX-P4430 tested)
  7. onto envelopes using the manual feed bin. As each envelope is printed
  8. it adds a record of this action into a database which you can use to
  9. re-print another envelope to the same person or company.
  10.  
  11. Up to a 5 line address is supported along with an optional ATTENTION
  12. line. If the information in any line is left blank the lines will
  13. compress as if you did not leave a gap. If you fill in the ATTENTION
  14. line then the word "ATTENTION:" along with whatever you typed will
  15. be put on the envelope.
  16.  
  17. The database created is a simple TEXT file with comma delimeters so that
  18. you may manulipate it if you so desire. Each record has a CR/LF at the
  19. end of each record and consists of 8 fields. The last field is a date
  20. stamp for when the envelope was printed and is NOT shown on the main 
  21. program screen.

  23. The SEARCH capability uses the "CONTAINS" algorithm so that if you
  24. type something into the NAME field and then go back to the SEARCH
  25. button, each time you press it and that type combination is in the
  26. name field for that record the card will be shown. When you find the
  27. correct name, move to the OK button and then PRINT your envelope. If
  28. the 1st name is not the correct one simply press the NEXT button and
  29. the program will look for the next occurance of the name. Example:
  30. you go to the name field and type in OH
  31.  
  32. The program finds:
  33.         John Smith since there is an OH in the word John.
  34. You press NEXT and it shows:
  35.         Ohlin Mills Carpeting since Ohlin has an OH
  36. You press NEXT and it shows:
  37.         **** END OF SEARCH **** 
  38.                 (Whoops the name we need is not in the database)
  39.                 Simply, use the CLEAR button to clear the screen and
  40.                 type in the Name and address. Then when you print the
  41.                 envelope it will add this name to the database for use
  42.                 next time.

  44. If you are using Pre-Printed envelopes with your Return Address then
  45. you do not need to use the RETURN ADDRESS [X] box in the program. If
  46. you wish to use the function you must register the program with us
  47. specifying the exact name and address so that we may include it into
  48. your registered version of the program. We also assume that YOU would
  49. like to have a personal version for your own use so include your own
  50. name and address and you will recieve a two for the price of one
  51. registration.

  53. Hardware Requirements: IBM PC or CLONE, 640K memory, VGA monitor.
  54. Other Requirements: DOS 3.3 or Greater, Mouse (Optional).
