  12.    MARKET-MASTER is a derivative of DBASE III, compiled with CLIPPER. As such,
  13.    though it is a *STAND-ALONE* package, all data files can be manipulated
  14.    with DBASE III. It will run on any 100% compatible IBM XT/AT/386/486 class
  15.    computer, and runs  under PC/MS-DOS Versions 3.0 to 6.0. 512 K of memory
  16.    (RAM) is required. Before running MARKET-MASTER, it is STRONGLY suggested
  17.    that all TSR's (if installed) be removed, as MARKET-MASTER needs the recom-
  18.    mended amount of memory FOR ITSELF in order to run properly ! A hard disk
  19.    is required. A DISK-CACHING program  is  *HIGHLY* recommended  ! A color
  20.    monitor (CGA, EGA, preferably VGA) greatly improves  the user interface,
  21.    though a HERCULES GRAPHICS monochrome is quite usable.

  28.    MARKET-MASTER is a Multi-Level  Marketing  Management System. It is
  29.    designed to  provide  ALL the  Invoice/Inventory/Distributor Tracking
  30.    functions that a Distributor for an MLM company such as [ AMWAY ] might
  31.    require. If you are an MLM distributor, the FEATURES LISTED in the USER's
  32.    GUIDE, coupled  with the  LOW  registration  fee  ($49  basic), should
  33.    convince you immediately that "MARKET-MASTER"  is  a winner.

  39.      Installation of this program is VERY simple. When you are finished
  40.      reading this introduction, you will be presented with the option to
  41.      begin the automatic installation. If you reply "YES", a sub-directory
  42.      \MARKMSTR will be created on your hard disk, and the compressed .ZIP
  43.      files will be expanded into it. You will then start the MARKET-MASTER
  44.      program. If MARKET-MASTER was previously installed, you will be given
  45.      the option to save your DATA files ! When you are ready, just sit back
  46.      and get ready to TAKE FINANCIAL CONTROL !!

  50.    When the Configuration and Installation phase is over, you will be
  51.    in the MAIN MENU. At this point, it would be a VERY GOOD idea to print
  52.    out the USER's MANUAL to SCREEN or to PRINT. If you opt to PRINT, there
  53.    will be [ 10 ]  PAGES  of output. You will note  that the "SETUP" option
  54.    is highlighted. After reading the USER'S MANUAL, you will no doubt want
  55.    to select this option to set up your system.  **** NOTE **** If an
  56.    ACCOUNT NUMBER is assigned, the system opens with a screen requesting
  57.    it's entry. Otherwise, the system starts at the MAIN MENU (Menu #1).

  59.      @@@@@ PLEASE NOTE @@@@@ :  There are two GRAPHICS screens when MARKET-
  60.      MASTER is first starting up, and one when it is ending. If your mono-
  61.      chrome monitor WILL NOT display these, there is an option on the first
  62.      MENU screen to DISABLE graphics. There is also an option on this screen
  63.      to TURN OFF the SOUND.

  67.      A **VERY** important step that you should do right now before you go
  68.      any further is to make BACKUP COPIES of the original disk(s) using
  69.      the DOS Copy or Xcopy command. Then, put the originals in a SAFE
  70.      place, and continue with the backups.
