  2. [ LOAD/DELETE LOAN HELP ]

  4. Here you can load/delete a loan file from a disk. The  main  part
  5. of this screen is the listing of the files in  the  current  path
  6. (disk and directory) shown at the top.  A file can be selected to
  7. load/delete by highlighting it with the movable cursor  and  then
  8. pressing ENTER. Note that the highlighted file name also shows in
  9. the loan name field at the top. If desired, a loan  can  also  be
  10. selected by typing its name directly into this field and pressing
  11. ENTER. The ".FLP" extension does not have  to  be  included  when
  12. typing in a file name. The file listing  can  be  sorted  several
  13. ways to assist in selecting a loan.  The key legends shown at the
  14. bottom of the screen and on the KEY HELP screen show the  various
  15. sort options.

  19. [ CHANGE LOAD DIRECTORY HELP ]

  21. Here a new path can be entered from which a loan can be loaded or
  22. deleted. To enter the new path use the following general  format:
  23.  
  24.                        "DRIVE:\DIRECTORY"
  25.      EXAMPLES:
  26.  
  27.      (1) for the default directory on drive A, enter "A:"
  28.  
  29.      (2) for directory "\FLAP" on drive B, enter "B:\FLAP"
  30.  
  31.      (3) for directory "\FINANCE\LOANS" on drive C,
  32.                                   enter "C:\FINANCE\LOANS"
  33.  
  34.      (4) for the root directory on drive D, enter "D:\"
  35.  
  36. After choosing a new path and pressing ENTER, a  listing  of  the
  37. loan files in that path are displayed on  the  screen.  If  there
  38. are no files in the chosen path, a message will indicate so.

  42. [ SAVE LOAN HELP ]
  43.  
  44. The dialog window displays the current path, file name, and  com-
  45. ment.  If no changes are made, the loan will be saved under these
  46. conditions. Changes can be made using key selections shown in the
  47. window.  The key operations are detailed in the KEY HELP screen.

  51. [ ENTER/EDIT COMMENT HELP ]

  53. The comment field  provides a way to tag a loan or to add more in
  54. formation about it. For example, the borrower's or lender's  name
  55. could be entered here. The comment shows on the  file  list  when
  56. loading and deleting  loans, and the list can be sorted according
  57. to the comments. Tags such as cities, zip codes, loan sizes, etc.
  58. can, therefore, be placed in the  comment  field  for  customized
  59. sorting of the file listing.

  65. Here a new path can be entered to which a loan or report  can  be
  66. saved. To enter the new path use the  following  general  format:
