  1. WcEDIT! 1.50->1.53 UPDATE PATCH
  2. -------------------------------
  3. A couple of bugs appeared right after the 1.50 release.  Rather than
  4. come out with a complete new archive so soon, this quick update will be
  5. provided in patch form.

  8. INSTRUCTIONS
  9. ------------
  10. 1. Unarchive PATCH150.BAT, 150-151.BDF, 151-153.BDF and BUPDATE.EXE into
  11.    the directory where WCEDIT.EXE is located.
  12.  
  13. 2. Make sure your WCEDIT.EXE executable has NOT been modified or compressed
  14.    with PKLite or LZEXE.  If in doubt, restore the original file from the
  15.    WCEDT150.ZIP archive.
  16.  
  17. 3. Run PATCH150.BAT.
  18.  
  19. 4. The new WCEDIT.EXE file will be updated and should show a file time
  20.    of 01:53 and a date of 01-03-94.

  24. UPDATE DETAILS
  25. --------------

  27. 1. The [Spacebar] would not tag conferences in the Conference update
  28.    screen from the configuration and in the various Conference selection
  29.    screens of the User Editor.
  30.  
  31. 2. When e[X]porting messages, a new file was created every time, overwriting
  32.    the original if it already existed.
  33.  
  34. 3. When Crossposting a message, the original was not being posted, only the
  35.    crossposted messages.
  36.  
  37. 4. It was possible to save a Carbon Copy/Crosspost entry screen without a
  38.    Name field entry.  It is now a required field.

  40. 5. Added the ability to clear the marked messages list by pressing [Alt-C].

  46. IF you have trouble and are unable to apply this patch to upgrade your
  47. copy of WcEDIT!, the version will always be available from the support
  48. bbs.
