  25.   Purpose of the TI:
  26.   This document illustrates how to create a calculation based on a
  27.   lookup table that is not in the working directory.

  30.   To create a calculated field that references a lookup table field
  31.   residing in a directory other than the working directory, do not
  32.   reference the directory path of the lookup table in the
  33.   calculated field (if you do, you will receive a syntax error).
  34.   Instead, when you create the link in the Report Generator by
  35.   choosing Field | Lookup | Link, specify the directory path and
  36.   table name for the lookup table.  From then on, you reference a
  37.   field from that lookup table by typing the following:

  39.           [TBLNAME->FLDNAME]

  41.   where TBLNAME is the name of the lookup table and FLDNAME is the
  42.   name of the field from the lookup table.
