  3. The program in the ARESDATA subdirectory on this disk is a self-extracting
  4. archive file containing the latest release of ARES/Data.  To put the files on
  5. your disk, create a subdirectory on your C:  drive called ARESDATA, put the
  6. disk in floppy drive A:  and enter these commands:
  7.  
  8.                         A:>cd aresdata
  9.  
  10.                         A:>ad14dist.exe c:\aresdata
  11.                                 or
  12.                         A:>ad14dis.exe c:\aresdata
  13.  
  14. (depending upon which distribution file you have).  This will extract all files
  15. and put them in a directory on hard disk C:  in a subdirectory called ARESDATA.

  17. You should also create a subdirectory \PUBLIC and copy the INFO file and
  18. the *.HLP files into this subdirectory just like the \PUBLIC
  19. subdirectory on the distribution disk.  Keep the downloadable files in
  20. the \PUBLIC subdirectory small as this facility was not intended to
  21. handle large files.
