  3.     If you operate a TNC2 with the "High Speed Mod", you may have
  4. noticed  that  it generates enough noise at times to  reduce  the
  5. sensitivity of your receiver noticeably.  There is a way...
  6.  
  7.     Install  small  ferrite beads inside the RS232 plug (the  one
  8. that fits into the TNC) and inside the DIN plug also.   Install a
  9. bead  on each wire.   The sort of beads don't seem to matter.   I
  10. installed them on 2 TNC's here for the BBS, and I really put what
  11. I could find in my junk box:  different sizes, different types...
  12. it works real quiet now.
