  2. Subject: ICOM IC24AT keyboard command summary 
  3.  
  4. This is an attempt to document all of the known key sequences for the ICO
  5. IC24AT (144/440MHz dual band hand held).  Some key sequences may be common
  6. with the IC[2,3,4]SAT, therefore a fewkey seqences fr thoseradios re also
  7. on this list. Some ke sequenes requre optins (such as the PL encode/decode
  8. board).

  10. This is not designed to replace the owners manual, but to summarize the
  11. information in one place.
  12.  
  13. Note: Many controls vary depending on the current mode, i.e.: Scan up/down
  14. will search frequencies when in VFO mode, and will scan meory channels when
  15. in Memory mode. Consult the owners guide for complete iformation.

  17. KEY/COMBINATION = Result, action

  20. 0-9,A,B,C,D,#,* = note: when transmitting these will generate DTMF tones
  21. 0-9             = Enter frequency (can also use the VFO knob)
  22. A               = VFO mode / clear incomplete entry
  23. B               = Memory mode
  24. C               = VHF / UHF change
  25. D               = Call channel
  26. *               = Step frequency down/scan down
  27. #               = Step frequency up/scan up
  28. MONI            = Open squelch and change to input frequency (if not simplex)
  29.                   while button is depressed
  30. H/L/DTMF        = Select High/Low power, or (while transmitting) send
  31.                   preprogrammed DTMF codes
  32. FUNC + 0        = Dial set
  33. FUNC + 1        = PL enable (when option is installed)
  34. FUNC + 2        = Code squelch [NOT for the IC24AT, IC[2,3,4]SAT option only]
  35. FUNC + 3        = Skip memory
  36. FUNC + 4        = Duplexoperatin
  37. FUNC + 5        = Code [NOT for the IC24AT, IC[2,3,4]SAT option only]
  38. FUNC + 6        = Mask freuency
