  4. {COMMO} (tm) is a Telecommunications Program that offers great power,
  5. speed and flexibility in a small, easy-to-use package.

  32. New users please read the file COMMO.DOC.  {COMMO} is a little different
  33. from other terminal programs and the time will be well spent.  Pay
  34. special attention to Appendix A, "Setting Up Your Modem."

  38. What's new in {COMMO} 4.1?  {Previous users please read!!!}

  41. If you missed any recent {COMMO} releases, please refer to the file
  42. HISTORY to get caught up on the changes and improvements.

  45. The purpose of this release to is address some popular demands that went
  46. unanswered in {COMMO} 4.0.  My apologies to those who have been
  47. inconvenienced in any way.
  48.

  50. Support File Changes
  51. --------------------

  53. Configuration File:   a number of additions have been made in the
  54. section "Communications and Modem."  Please spend a few minutes to
  55. customize the sample file to your own needs.  Changes include:
  56.  
  57. 1)  Four different Dialing Prefixes may be specified.  These may be
  58.     selected in the phone number field of the Dialing Directory (see
  59.     below).
  60.  
  61. 2)  Success and failure modem response codes may now be configured.
  62.     These allow the use of nearly any type of modem.
  63.  
  64. 3)  Whether or not to erase dialing marks when saving the Dialing
  65.     Directory file is now configurable (default is to erase marks).

  68. Dialing Directory File:  a new parameter has been added -- the
  69. selectable Dialing Prefix (#1,#2,#3,#4).  This is optional and need only
  70. be added where needed:

  81. Command Line Options
  82. --------------------

  84. You can now have Dialing Strings AND a Startup Macro on the command line
  85. used to call {COMMO}.  If both are present the systems listed will be
  86. marked (not dialed), then the macro will be started.
  87.  
  88. A new switch "/i=[yes/no]" can be used to control Modem Initialization
  89. during {COMMO} startup.  Use it to eliminate the prompt on the
  90. Initialization Screen.

  93. Screen Image Function

  96. The Screen Image Save function has been expanded to bring up a window
  97. similar to the Capture File Options window.  Also the name of the
  98. corresponding macro function has been changed from SCNImage to SCREEN.
