  3. HUM IN RECEIVE AUDIO TS-940S
  4. On Kenwood TS-940S's that do not have the optional voice
  5. synthesizer VS-1 installed in unit, you may notice a hum in
  6. the receive audio.
  7. The already present plug-in molex connectors for the optional
  8. voice synthesizer unit should be dressed at the top of the
  9. shield case where the voice synthesizer mounts; however, if
  10. they are left to hang free in the vicinity of the PLL and
  11. Digital A units, you will notice a hum in the receive audio.
  12. The fix, simply secure above mentioned plug-in molex
  13. connectors to the top of the shield case where optional VS-1
  14. should mount.  Plastic ties, trash bag ties or simple
  15. eletrical tape works nicely.
