  12. While this antenna provides the most gain I could squeeze out of 3 elements on
  13. any length boom, it has a very narrow impedance bandwidth and is only suitable
  14. for the 12 meter band.  Even there it has an SWR of 1.5 at the band edges when
  15. matched at the center of the band.  The rear lobe is also quite high.  However,
  16. the front lobe is remarkably narrow for only 3 elements (this must be where it
  17. extracts its gain).
