  3.      The following is a "Walk-Thru" of Almonds's optimization 
  4. procedure. It uses the "LPFLTR"  files on the distribution disk. 
  5.  
  6.  STEP  DESCRIPTION            PROCEDURE;  TYPE:                
  7.  
  8.   1   Load Almond             ALMOND or ALMOND87 (requires 8087) 
  9.  
  10.                                      or BASICA ALMOND 
  11.                                      or GWBASIC ALMOND 
  12.  
  13.   2   Enter Optimizer         Almond Menu:4-Optimize network 
  14.  
  15.   3   Set Objectives          Optimizer Menu:7-Objective 
  16.       (Use LPFLTR.OBJ)        Enter file name: LPFLTR 
  17.      note:Objective editor,top of screen,shows data for 1.7GHz
  18.  
  19.   4   Return to ALMOND Menu          RET, RET 
  20.  
  21.   5   Load CKT                Almond Menu: 1- Edit network 
  22.                               Enter FILE name: LPFLTR 
  23.  
  24.   6   Return to ALMOND Menu   RET 
  25.  
  26.   7   Return to OPTMIZE Menu  Almond Menu: 4- Optimize network 
  27.  
  28.   8   Select elements to vary Optimization Menu: 1- Add an 
  29. Element 
  30.                               ? 1: RET 
  31.                               NUM 1 RET 
  32.              Continue for all three elements 
  33.  
  34.   9   Do optimization         Optimization Menu:5- Optimization 
  35.                               Enter 0 for number of searches 
  36.  
  37.              Note: Error should decrease with iterations         
  38.  
  39.  10  Return to ALMOND MENU    RET
  40.  
  41.  11  Determine response       3, con't as required.
