HAMGRAM
National Traffic System message format generator. Automatically generates
the proper preamble, text and postamble for the NTS Amatuer Radio Message.
'HXx' Handling Instructions and other critical fields are filled in with
on-line context sensitive help.
Maintains all message records in a dBase-III+ compatible file format.
Multiple sets of records may be kept on a single disk or directory. The
extension delineates a particular set of records. For example
HAMLOG.AUG - messages for august
HAMLOG.089 - messages for month 8, year 89
HAMLOG.DBF - default extension
Invoke the program by entering at the prompt:
HAMLOG ext where ext is the extension described above.
If ext is void, then DBF is the default extension.
When starting an empty database of messages, the first record will be number 1
and will be empty. Enter the first message by 'editing' this record. Addition-
al messages are entered using the 'add' function.
Help is always available, press <F1>!
If you generated messages and have a dBase file created with either ver 1.00 or
ver 1.01 please do the following to modify the data base for use with version
1.02.
Using dBase, FoxBase, PCTOOLS or some other access tool:
1. Increase the size of the field STATION to 10 vice 6
