Finally I got this new scanner, the AOR 3000.
It's a great receiver with a large all modes coverage.
That's why I choose it !
So I write this program in basic to scan frequencies
viewing them on display and writin' on disk.
Connect your RS232 to AOR then run SEARCH.EXE
Now input lower and upper frequencies, step, mode, attenuator.
Remember that frequency must be written without commas or points.
For example 144.500.00 must be 14450000
Step input will be for example 2500 instead 25.00
Mode and attenuator in caps on
Scanner begin and you'll see a bar chart when station is
caught. At the same time a file (SEARCH.DAT) is written so
you can read it when the program ends.
Every time the scanning mode begin from the lower frequency
the Cycle counter increments its value.
To stop program press a key at any moment.
If you have any suggestion please leave a note into the
WB2COY BBS (914-485-3393). You're welcomed.
