Subject: Voice of Germany -- English language programme schedule
To: Lee Reynolds <tosspot!lee@uunet.uu.net>
DEUTSCHE WELLE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMME SCHEDULE
==================================================
valid January to February, 1991
All times UTC
All frequencies kHz
Compiled by Jari Perkiomaki <fk00133r@uwasa.fi>
Acknowledgement:
This frequency and programme schedule was published in "tune in", 1/1991
(November-December), a bimonthly bulletin from the Deutsche Welle,
the international radio and TV service of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Since Unity Day on October 3rd, Deutsche Welle programmes are also
broadcast on frequencies formerly used by Radio Berlin International (RBI).
Address: Deutsche Welle, P.O.Box 10 04 44, W-5000 COLOGNE 1, FRG,
Tel.: 02 21 3890
Telefax: 02 21 3892050
Please note! The country prefixes "D-" and "DDR-" are now taken out of use.
Instead it is advised to use "W" for cities in the Western part of Germany
and "O" for cities in the Eastern part. This is because the same zip codes
are being used in both parts. A new 5-digit zip code system for the whole
Germany will be ready in about 2 years. (Bernd Trutenau in "FM-TV Busybody"
no. 11/90)
Note: Ask for a free English programme magazine of the Deutsche
Welle called "tune in". Printed on a high-quality paper and
with an excellent lay-out, it is published bi-monthly
including the latest programme and frequency guides, and also
featuring coming programmes as well as current developments
in Germany.
