  6. This demonstration program for DXBase has been posted on DX-BBS as a result
  7. of a change in policy of Scientific Solutions, Inc., The publishers of the
  8. DXbase Program.
  9.  
  10. Jack Lennox, AA4LU, President of Scientific Solutions, told me today on the
  11. telephone that he and Dean Fredriksen, W8ZF, had decided to remove the copy
  12. protection scheme from DXbase.  I am pleased that they reached that decision,
  13. as it allows me to make this demo program available to you.  I will not run
  14. a copy-protected program on my computer and will not be part of recommending
  15. any such program to anyone else, so this was not posted until now.

  17. W8ZF is one of the pioneer PacketCluster SYSOPs.  He knows what is necessary
  18. to interface PacketCluster.  Even though I must stop short of recommending
  19. the program, because I have only seen the demo program, I feel that it has
  20. great promise.
