There were over 200 people that were subscribed to one of the ADE
lists and who appeared to not be subscribed to the ade-announce list.
The ade-announce list is a moderated list that is *very* important for
anyone interested in or using the ADE.

For this reason, I've autosubscribed all of the addresses that were in
one of the other lists but not in the ade-announce list.  I then went
through and eliminated obvious duplicates and addresses that were
obviously not appropriate ([e-mail] for example).

If you really do not want to be on this list (not advised, but it is
your choice) then you can unsubscribe by sending the appropriate
unsubscribe command to [e-mail]:

    unsubscribe <my-email-address>

If you get more than one copy of this announcement, then you must be
subscribed to the ade lists with more than one email address and you
can unsubscribe the ones that are obsolete.  You should also
unsubscribe from whatever other group has the obsolete address and
resubscribe with your current one.

If you have problems, contact me and I'll fix things for you.  :-)

The first production ADE CD-ROMs are now available for immediate
shipment.  The cost is $24.95 for a single CD or $89.95 for a four CD
(annual) subscription.  Updates are expected quarterly.

We have not yet updated our web pages, but that should be handled in
the next 24 hours.  Orders can be placed via the web page (once it is
updated) or by sending email to "[e-mail]".

Developers who have made substantial contributions to the ADE may be
eligible for one or more free CDs.  If you think this applies to you,
please send me email.  I will decide each case on an individual basis,
but in general I'll be pretty generous.  :-)

Hello,
I want to announce my release of psutils-1.16 and dvidvi ready to use
for ADE next week.  That means I added full support to
automake/autoconf/configure (no I know the auto* stuff, great).  The
source are from CTAN server (psutils) and CTAN-server and AMINET
(dvidvi).

Any comments are wellcome, also if anybody has the time to check it.
The binaries should work because I use them at home and at work.

Hello all,

The latest projects list, updated on 17 November 1996, is now
available from the following sites:

Note the change of primary site, we're having a lot of trouble with
the office web site so I've finally established my Demon site to cut
the load on the office one. The SSS site will remain available for
the times when the Demon site isn't working.

The projects.lha file has been uploaded to ninemoons, along with a
new version of the text-only file (PROJECTS). Hopefully the'll be
available soon for people to take a look at.

I've added a new list called "ade-cvslog", and tied it to the CVS
repository so that CVS "commits" send a log message to that list.  The
log message looks something like:

If you are doing active ADE development and want to know what changes
are going into the CVS repository (perhaps to watch for that change
you submitted so long ago), then you can subscribe to this list.

For the moment, there is only a single list.  If the volume on that
list gets too high, we can split it into multiple lists, say one for
each major ADE package, and people can subscribe to just the list that
corresponds to the package that they are interested in.
