  10. This is GNU Bash.  Bash is the GNU Project's Bourne Again SHell, a
  11. complete implementation of the POSIX.2 shell spec, but also with
  12. interactive command line editing, job control on architectures that
  13. support it, csh-like features such as history substitution and brace
  14. expansion, and a slew of other features.  For more information on the
  15. features of Bash that are new to this type of shell, see the file
  16. `doc/features.texi'.  There is also a large man page.  The manual page
  17. is the definitive description of the shell's features.
