  5. What is this Sleep stuff ??

  7. Well, have you ever work on WindowsNT and saw the animated busy
  8. pointers?

  10. "Gosh, my Amiga is better than a PeeCe and my Workbench only shows a
  11. little-tiny stopped busy pointer!"
  12.  
  13. You may say: "use PointerX, or LacePointer"
  14.  
  15. no way : PointerX only shows a ugly bysypointer in lowres !!!
  16.  
  17. You can also say: "use PatchPointer to make the busypointer hires."
  18. Ok ... try it and you will see the busypointer becomes stopped!
  19. Damn ...

  21. LacePointer in other way only works in screenmodes of PAL/NTSC.  If
  22. you have a brand new AGA amiga, that is in MULTISCAN or DBLPAL, or
  23. something else, no LacePointer.

  25. Those little problems, motivated me to program SleepingPointers.
  26. After some time, SleepingPointers has born!

  28. Now, animated busy pointers in hires is easy.

  30. If i receive enough feedback, i will do a Prefs Program so that you
  31. can load you favourite ANIMATION/ANIMBRUSH of a busy pointer and use
  32. it!

  39. Phonebill      3.3b    Log file analyzer-determine call costs
  40.  
  41.    `phonebill' is, simply said, a log file analyzer. What it basically
  42. does is scan log file(s) generated by a terminal program or a mailer,
  43. extract all information about calls you have made by using your modem,
  44. and store this in its own (short) format. After extracting the calls
  45. `phonebill' can generate various reports in which you can find
  46. information on duration and costs of the calls.
