  12. Yak stands for "Yet Another Kommodity" and is a mouse/window manipulation
  13. program along the same lines as DMouse, MightyMouse etc.
  14.  
  15. Yak has the following features:

  17.         o AutoPoint (sunmouse) that only activates when mouse stops
  18.           can also specify which screens to include/exclude.
  19.           (Compatible with popup-menu type programs)
  20.  
  21.         o AutoPop windows (bring them to front) when they're
  22.           auto-activated;
  23.  
  24.         o KeyActivate windows (when key pressed);
  25.  
  26.         o Activate windows when menu button pressed;
  27.  
  28.         o Click windows to front or back; may also specify which
  29.           screens/windows to include/exclude.
  30.  
  31.         o Cycle screens with mouse;
  32.  
  33.         o Mouse and Screen blanking (hotkey blanking too);
  34.  
  35.         o Extensible hotkey system (like FKey's) with actions to:
  36.  
  37.                 Execute a CLI Command or an ARexx script;
  38.                 Insert text (with embedded hotkeys);
  39.                 Insert date (in custom format if locale present);
  40.                 Close/Zip/Shrink/Enlarge windows;
  41.                 Move/Cycle screens and windows;
  42.                 Activate Workbench;
  43.                 Blank display;
  44.                 Pop up a palette on front screen (needs reqtools);
  45.                 Menu shortcut
  46.  
  47.         o KeyClick with adjustable volume;
  48.  
  49.         o No Click option (for drives).
  50.  
  51.         o Wildstar option (like StarBurst) lets you use '*' as wildcard.

  53.         o Optional on-screen AppIcon to bring up preferences window.

  55. Look  familiar?  It's a combination of the AutoPoint, ClickToFront, Blanker
  56. and  IHelp/FKey  standard  commodities  (on the Extras disk) with a hint of
  57. KCommodity and DMouse thrown in.

  59. Fully localized when running OS 2.1 or more!
